Haverford’s snow decision was unsound

Dear members of the bi-college community,

When one school in a bi-college community cancels its classes, and transportation between schools is halted because of dangerous road conditions, doesn’t it seem reasonable that the other school would also cancel classes? Apparently, Haverford’s administration does not think so. By leaving class cancellation to the professors’ discretion, Haverford is being disrespectful to the Bryn Mawr women who have no means of transportation to Haverford when the Blue Bus does not run.

Are they expected to walk? Or maybe drive their own cars in unsafe conditions when even the Blue Bus will not run? Perhaps Haverford’s administration needs to think of the bi-college community before its own sadistic need to hold classes on a day too treacherous for cars but perfect for traying.
