Tuesday, Feb. 29

4:11 p.m. A resident of Pembroke East reported a theft of cash from her wallet, missing since 7 p.m. the previous evening.

10:12 p.m. A resident of Pembroke East reported the theft of cash from her room, since the previous evening. Investigation continuing.

Wednesday, March 1

3:04 a.m. A resident of Brecon Hall reported hearing screams behind that residence hall. Officers checked the area, and everything was okay.

9:27 a.m. The vehicle of a resident student, who had five unpaid tickets, was “BOOTED” while illegally parked in Merion Parking Lot. The “BOOT” was removed later that day upon payment of all fines.

12:23 p.m. Officers responded to Erdman Hall on a report that a representative of an off-campus group was soliciting students for summer jobs. The subject was found and escorted out of the building, and instructed to confine his efforts to the Campus Center, where he was authorized to solicit for the jobs.

2:24 p.m. A resident of Pembroke East reported that her MAC debit card was taken from her room on Feb. 24. Investigation continuing.

7:54 p.m. A resident of Pembroke East reported that her Master Card was taken from her room sometime between Feb. 21 and Feb. 22. Lower Merion Police notified.

Thursday, March 2

5:37 a.m. Report received from a resident student that her friend had not returned from Haverford College. Haverford security notified, and while attempting to locate her, the missing student returned safely.

Officers from Safety & Security handled 370 incidents during this period, including 45 lockouts, 14 maintenaznce problems, 72 special building checks and 12 alarms. Dorm doors were found unsecured 150 times.

There were no alcohol illness cases this week.

Monday, Feb. 21

2:16 p.m. Theft - Dining Center

A prospective student’s wallet was stolen from her coat the night of Friday, Feb. 18. during a party at the Dining Center. The wallet was found in the snow on Monday morning, missing only $10 cash. The wallet was mailed back to its owner.

Wednesday, Feb. 23

10:50 a.m. Theft - Chase Hall

A cash amount of $15 was stolen from the Registrar’s Office in Chase Hall overnight.

Week of Feb. 28 - March 5

Officers from Safety & Security handled 360 incidents during this period, including 31 lockouts, 19 maintenance problems, 79 special building checks, and 9 alarms. Dorm doors were found unsecured 158 times.

There were no alcohol illness cases this week.

Monday, Feb. 28

12:16 p.m. Theft - Dining Center

A backpack with a student’s wallet, ATM card and tape recorder was stolen from the DC foyer between 6:00 p.m. Saturday. Feb. 26, and at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb 27. Textbooks, a checkbook and IDs were recovered near the women’s restroom there.

2:57 p.m. Vandalism - 710 College Ave.

A storm window was smashed, reportedly by a snowball.

5:03 p.m. Trespass - Hall Building

A faculty member reported two men walking through the hallways of Hall Building, looking into rooms and offices. They were stopped and identified by Haverford Police after they refused to ID themselves to security officers. Both men were given trespass warnings and a third person in their car was cited for underage drinking.

Saturday, March 4

9:15 p.m. Trespass - Duck Pond

Three male teenagers were found in between the upper and lower Duck Ponds, but could offer no reason for being there. With assistance from Lower Merion Police, each was identified and given a trespass warning. The men were from Narberth, Wayne and Malvern, Pa.

Week of March 6 - 12

Officers from Safety & Security handled 297 incidents during this period, including 23 lockouts, 32 maintenance problems, 82 special building checks and 14 alarms, Dorm doors were found unsecured 95 times.

There were no alcohol illness cases this week.

Wednesday, March 8

11:07 am. Theft - Founders Hall

Approximately $40 in cash was stolen from an office in Founders Hall sometime between March 1 and March 8.
