Monday, November 29th
3:23 p.m. Theft of Bicycle 50 Hannum Drive
Student reported the theft of a bicycle from a bike rack in front of HCA 50. A police report was filed.
10:16 p.m. Towed Vehicle Hannum Drive
An unregistered vehicle with several unpaid parking violations was observed parked in front of 10 Hannum Drive. A student arrived on the scene while the vehicle was in the process of being towed, and paid the required fee to the tow truck operator. Vehicle was released on site.
Tuesday, November 30th
1:46 a.m. Fire Alarm Dining Center
A fire alarm was received for the Dining Center. The alarm panel indicated activation in the lower level bakery, but no activated detector could be located. Panel reset.
1:34 p.m. Fire Alarm Sharpless Hall
Alarm activation at Sharpless was caused by contractors working on the system.
Wednesday, December 1st
7:08 a.m. Assist Police College Circle
Haverford Township Police notified Security that a 911 hang up call was received from a residence on College Circle. Officers and HTPD verified everything was fine. The call was unfounded.
2:50 p.m. Assist Police Safety & Security
Lower Merion Police received a 911 hang up from a campus phone. Haverford Security checked the number in question; all normal.
6:15 p.m. Check on Well Being Gummere Hall
Father of a Haverford student reported that he had not talked to his daughter since the morning and he is concerned for her well being. A note was placed on student’s door asking her to call her father. GA notified.
Thursday, December 2nd
1:04 a.m. Noise Complaint Lunt Basement
Student notified Security of loud music coming from Lunt Basement. Officers informed the individuals to turn down the music and they complied.
There are no other significant incidents to report.
