Crime Blotter - Haverford

Thursday, April 9th
9:56 a.m.
Resident reported that an unknown subject stole his laptop from his apartment. Subject entered the apartment through unlocked door. (Burglary actually occurred between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on 4/8/09). Haverford Township Police notified – under investigation.

11:50 a.m.
Resident reported that an unknown subject forced his way into apartment and stole a laptop and an Apple Ipod Touch. (Burglary actually occurred between hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on 4/8/09). Haverford Township Police notified – under investigation.

12:37 p.m.
Three males entered the building and one suspect is believed to have remained with their vehicle, a silver Prius, parked outside the building. The suspects are described as African American males, early twenties, medium height. (Robbery actually occurred between hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.) SAFETY ALERT ISSUED

Wednesday, April 8th
3:53 p.m.
Students reported receiving a Facebook post from an unknown individual that made them feel uncomfortable. Advice was given to students on how to handle the matter.

Tuesday, April 7th
12:31 a.m.
Student reported fireworks going off in the area of Lunt. Security checked area with negative results.

Monday, April 6th
3:34 p.m. Unauthorized Use of Facilities GIAC
Fitness Center monitor reported unauthorized persons in the Gooding arena. Security responded and found a student and non-student playing basketball. Non-student left upon Security’s arrival. He was not a guest of the student.

Saturday, April 4th
1:37 a.m.
Quaker Bouncer notified Security of a belligerent individual causing a scene and breaking a beer bottle. Actors were an alumnus and his guest; escorted off campus.

2:45 a.m.
Student was ill in Roberts Computer Lab – alcohol related. Nurse on Call authorized the student to be monitored overnight.

6:37 p.m.
Officer reported five off-campus residents were preparing to play soccer on the Class of 22 turf field. They were advised that they were not permitted to use the field. Persons left without incident.

6:54 p.m.
There was fire alarm activation at 804 Ardmore Ave. Activation was caused by burnt food in apartment 1D.

11:17 a.m.
Report of an unknown female leaving advertisements throughout Jones. Subject could not be located, but company involved was contacted and advised solicitation is not permitted on campus.

Monday, March 30th
2:32 p.m.
Professor reported an unauthorized group using Room 114 left chewing gum on the piano and wrote on the chalk board.

Sunday, March 29th
1:28 a.m.
Unknown person reported someone setting off fireworks in the rear of 11 HCA. Area was checked with negative results.

2:51 a.m.
Student reported a group of non-student males sitting in front of Jones. Officer checked area with negative results.

12:44 p.m.
Fire alarm activation at Comfort Hall possibly caused by dirt – alarm reset.

4:47 p.m.
Student reported her Blackberry cell phone and phone case were taken from her apartment in 14 HCA.

Saturday, March 28th
10:35 a.m.
Security found a group of people on Walton Field. They were advised of campus policy and escorted from campus.

2:14 p.m.
Six males were found in the Gooding Arena of the GIAC. Group was escorted from campus.

10:41 p.m. Suspicious Persons HCA Trail
Student reported a group of non-students on the HCA trail. Investigation determined the group were guests of a student.

5:34 p.m.
Fire alarm caused by grease in the oven– alarm reset.

7:12 p.m.
Fire alarm set off by burning food – alarm reset

10:35 p.m.
Student reported non-students outside the south side of Lunt Hall. Investigation determined the parties were guests of a student.

Thursday, March 26th
12:27 p.m.
A student reported a fire in apt. 2A, 10 Hannum Dr. The fire was in a bedroom and caused by a lit candle. The candle was on the floor next to a mattress and the mattress caught fire. Several other items also caught fire. The fire department was responded; Oakmont FD and HTPD arrived. Mark Sweeney on scene.

10:05 a.m.
Visitor reported that his sweatpants and sweatshirt were taken from Walton Field while he was running on the track.

Tuesday, March 24th
5:46 p.m.
Student states an unknown person(s) removed from his unsecured storage area in the basement, a large metal tool box containing assorted tools.

Sunday, March 22nd
1:15 a.m.
The Quaker Bouncers reported by radio that a student was sick in the laundry room at Gummere Hall due to drinking too much alcohol. The student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance.

1:58 a.m.
An anonymous caller reported a fight at 14 Hannum Drive. The fight was initiated by two underage visitors who were at a party and became unruly when they were asked to leave. They punched a Haverford student and produced a knife (a steak knife later recovered).

The perpetrators kicked several cars and broke a side window on one of the vehicles. They were arrested and have been charged with Aggravated and Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Vandalism, and Underage Drinking.

2:51 a.m.
Security received a report of an intoxicated student at Comfort Hall. Security responded, requesting the nurse on call be notified to make an assessment of the student. The nurse stated the student was okay enough for another student to watch over him for the night.

3:23 p.m.
A student reported to Security that she observed a male exposing himself in the rear of 46 Hannum Drive/Peco Lot. Haverford Police notified. Male described a 20-30 years of age, black, wearing khaki pants and a shirt with a yellow stripe. Haverford Security and Police searched the area with negative results.

Wednesday, March 18th
12:27 p.m.
A student reported $20 missing from her wallet which had been left at the counter at the Coop. Wallet had been turned into Security by the Coop Manager.

Monday, March 16th
12:27 p.m.
A visitor who was previously banned from Haverford’s libraries has been seen in the Science library. Library staff has been instructed to contact Security if the subject returns.

8:44 p.m.
An employee from an on-line company reported that an individual, using a Haverford College email account, purchased phone cards illegally. He believes the account may have been stolen from a student. Student was contacted and was unaware of the abuse. New password issued.

Sunday, March 15th
1:51 a.m.
Report of an ill student at Barclay Hall – the illness was alcohol related. Student was transported to Bryn-Mawr Hospital by Llanerch Ambulance. Dean and nurse on call were.

Friday, March 13th
6:06 p.m.
Two students damaged the doors at the west side basement entrance by forcibly pulling on them open.

Tuesday, March 10th
9:18 a.m.
Exterior windows were broken at 14, 10 and 804 HCA – unknown when and how windows were broken.

Monday, March 9th
4:09 p.m.
Officer reported a student backing out of the parking bay at Leeds Hall struck a pole on the east side of Walton Road. No injuries resulted from this incident – minor damage.

A student reported the theft of an Xbox from an unlocked room.

Complaint received regarding noise at 18 HCA. Students were advised to turn down music and complied.

Student reported two males made numerous suspicious inquiries as to when spring break started and if there were any parties being held this weekend. Males were walking on the HCA trail. Security responded and males could not be located.

Student reported his camera was stolen from its case in his bedroom sometime over winter break.

Housekeeping employee notified security of vandalism to the Lunt basement bathrooms. Photographs were taken of the extensive damage and an investigation is being conducted.

8:11 p.m.
Twenty non-students were asked to leave the Gooding Arena and they complied.

11:49 p.m.
Student reported several intoxicated persons climbing trees between Comfort and the Fletcher Silver Walk. Area checked with negative results.

Sunday, March 1st
2:27 a.m.
Student reported someone pulled the microwave off of the wall in the kitchen area on the first floor of Lunt.

2:37 a.m.
A group of five males approached students, asking about a party and trying to gain entrance to the building. When denied entrance, one of the males threw an object at the window of 804 Ardmore, breaking the outer pane. Officers checked the area, with negative results.

3:33 a.m.
Report of a student sick from alcohol in Barclay. Student transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital at the request of the Nurse on call. Dean on call notified.

Wednesday, February 18th
12:30 p.m.
Student was transported to Bryn Mawr ER at the request of Health Services.  Returned to campus at 7:18pm.  Health Services and Dean on call notified.

4:55 p.m.
Student was transported to Bryn Mawr ER at the request of Health Services.

Monday, February 16th
11:35 a.m.
Employee reported a minor vehicle accident in the Visitor’s Parking Lot involving student and staff vehicles.  There was minor damage to one vehicle

Anonymous caller complained about party at HCA # 23. Officer asked the students to lower the music.  Students complied.

2:53 a.m.
C*cure system alerted Security of individuals attempting to enter the Field House and the GIAC north doors. Security on site observed two individuals force open the Athletes entrance door and enter GIAC.  Individuals (later determined to be students) were then observed leaving GIAC through the exit located across from the HCA trail.

Student requested to speak with the Nurse on call and was subsequently transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital.  Nurse and Dean on call were notified.

Musical equipment was taken from the storage area in Marshall Auditorium (several small gongs and a striker).

Student reported the theft of her bicycle from outside Barclay over the Winter Break.

The north gate arm on the HCA Trail was damaged by unknown persons removing a plastic reflective covering from the arm.

Unknown person activated the pull station at the Whitehead Campus Center/3rd floor guest suites.

A student reported the theft of a cell phone and scarf from a basement classroom in Founders Hall, between 11:00pm and 11:20pm.

A student reported the theft of his I.D. card, dorm key and sweatshirt from the basement of 34 Hannum Dr.  He noticed the items missing around 2:00am., Sunday, 1/25/09; he last had them at approximately 2220 hrs., Saturday, 1/24/09.  Suspect not known at this time.

12:09 a.m.
HC student notified Security that she and two of her friends had an undisclosed amount of alcohol and requested assistance.  One of the students was transported to Bryn Mawr ER – treated and released.

2:18 a.m.
Byrn Mawr Security notified HC Security that one of their students drank an undisclosed amount of alcohol and was awaiting assistance at Stokes Hall. The student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital via Llanerach Ambulance.  Byrn Mawr Public Safety was notified that student was transported to the hospital.

Saturday, January 24th

Student reported an unknown person removed two credit cards from her wallet that was inside her coat pocket while attending a party in Gummere basement.

12:16 a.m.
Haverford College student reported loud music coming from the apartment below her.  Students were advised to turn down music and complied.

2:26 a.m.
Anonymous caller reported excessive noise coming from the front of HCA 14.  There was no one in the area upon Security’s arrival.

Saturday, January 17th
4:50 p.m.
Two Haverford students were observed attempting to climb into the front window of 35 HCA.  They were advised of campus policy regarding dorm opening.

5:59 p.m.
Haverford student was found inside 808 Ardmore.  Student was authorized to stay at a different dorm for Winter Break.   Housing Dean notified.

9:48 p.m.
Security responded to 46 HCA for a forced door alarm. Student was found in apartment.  He was advised of campus policy regarding dorm opening. Housing Dean notified.

Friday, January 9th
7:38 p.m.
Bus driver from a visiting school, attending a track meet, witnessed another school bus hit the rear bumper of a vehicle in the South lot. Owner of vehicle notified.

Tuesday, January 13th
1:56 p.m.
Student observed on C-Cure system attempting to use his one card to gain entry.  Student was not on location upon Security’s arrival.

Wednesday, January 14th
12:13 a.m.
Forced open alarm was received on C-Cure system. Officers responded and found the building unoccupied and secure.  Student had attempted to gain access and was denied.

Thursday, January 15th
6:24 p.m.
Forced open alarm received for computer lab 11.  Room and area were checked with negative results. Room was secure.

9:43 p.m.
Officer responded to an intrusion alarm and found that the contractor was still working in the building.

A set of dumbbells was taken from the Fitness Center sometime between 12/19/08 and 10/02/09.

Thursday, December 18th
8:25 p.m.
Student reported that someone entered his unlocked room in Comfort and took a Canon digital camera and $200 from his wallet. Student did not want to file a police report at this time.

Tuesday, December 16th
12:25 p.m.
Student on the Nature Trail could see flames in the window of an apartment and that it appeared as though the resident was putting it out. Fire set off by a candle and was extinguished.

Monday, December 15th
12:25 p.m.
Housekeeping reported unknown person smeared feces over the walls in a bathroom in Gummere.

12:32 p.m.
Unknown subject cut the wire to the speaker that controls the alarm for the prop door alarm make the alarm inoperable. Alarm was repaired.

Saturday, December 13th
1:11 a.m.
Female BMC student transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance after having difficulty walking on Coursey Road. Alcohol poisoning.

2:26 p.m.
Student reports that an unknown person damaged his unit door at Lloyd Hall and between the hours of 12:01pm and 2:00pm.

3:33 p.m.
Residents of HCA 22 (4) reported the theft of items from their apartments. HTPD responded. Additional thefts occurred from an apartment in 18 Hannum, HCA 14, and HCA 19. The perpetrator of all of these incidents was subsequently identified and the investigation is continuing.

Thursday, December 11th
8:28 p.m.
Student reported theft of cash from her backpack on two separate occasions, 11/12 and 11/19/08.

12:04 a.m.
Student reported loud music coming from HCA 10. Party was ended after second request to turn down music.

Wednesday, December 10th

Student complained of loud music coming from 1st floor 19 HCA. Music turned down upon officer’s request.

12:20 p.m.
Suspicious person observed entering several properties along College Ave. Subject stopped, identified and questioned by Haverford Township Police. Subject has been a person of interest in other crimes in the area.

Tuesday, December 9th
5:04 p.m.
Officer noticed an air conditioner lying on the ground north side of 14 HCA Officer checked the interior of the apartment. Nothing was disturbed.

7:20 p.m.
Officer reported 4 unknown individuals using the track in the Field House. The group left upon officer’s request.

Sunday, December 7th
1:37 a.m.
Report of an ill student, alcohol related. Transported to hospital.

3:15 a.m.
Student reported her dorm key was lost or stolen at the Dining Center. Lock was changed.

2:56 p.m.
Two students residing in 18HCA reported missing cash from their wallets while they were out of his apartment.

Saturday, December 6th
12:30 a.m.
HC student notified security of a fellow student in HCA 26 who had consumed a high amount of alcohol. Student transported to hospital.

12:53 a.m.
HC student notified security of a suspicious person in the south lot who stared and followed her for a short time. Individual complied when asked to leave campus.

11:38 p.m.
Student reported 3 unknown males had been in the basement of Jones. Individuals left southward on campus. Security was unable to locate the subjects.

Thursday, December 4th
2:12 p.m.
A student notified Security of an unusual odor coming from the 3rd section 3rd floor bathroom in Gummere. The odor was due to heavy white smoke emanating from a faulty ballast in the light fixture in the 3rd floor bathroom. Haverford Police and Fire Department responded. No damage – no injuries.

Wednesday, December 3rd
10:00 a.m.
Student reported that a threatening message was left on her dorm door overnight. Writer of the message was subsequently identified and apologized.

Wednesday, November 19th
11:52 p.m.
Student reported someone had taken her car keys from the back of her dorm room door. Her vehicle was not moved from its location. No suspects at this time.

Sunday, November 16th
1:12 p.m.
Officer reported that unknown person spray painted graffiti with orange paint on the wooden dumpster enclosure outside Drinker Hall.

1:22 p.m.
Officer reported that unknown person spray painted graffiti with orange paint on the stone at the north end of Leeds.

Saturday, November 15th

Loud music reported coming from HCA 15. Students complied with request to lower music.

Thursday, November 13th

A white male wearing blue jeans, dress shoes, black leather jacket with the Harley Davison logo on the back was found wandering on campus in the area of the north dorms. First reported by security staff at the Haverford School. Safety & Security and Haverford police on location. Male was identified and issued a verbal trespass warning and left without incident.

3:00 a.m.
Officer reports unknown person(s) pulled the automatic paper towel dispenser from the wall of the basement men’s restroom.

Friday, October 31st
5:58 a.m.
Officer reported a vehicle in front of 50 HCA covered with toilet paper, shaving cream and lipstick. There appears to be no physical damage to the vehicle.

Monday, October 27th
2:11 p.m.
Student reported her bike was left unsecured in front of building 15 and she discovered it missing the next day.

Sunday, October 26th
1:09 a.m.
Quaker Bouncer informed Security of an individual smoking marijuana on the front porch of Founders. Individual could not be located upon officers’ arrival.

1:15 a.m.
Report of an individual urinating on the front porch of Founders. Male identified as student and warned to use restroom facilities.

2:54 a.m.
Haverford College student notified Security of a fellow HC student not feeling well after consumption of alcohol. Notifications made to the Nurse and Dean on Call. Student transported to hospital.

Saturday, October 25th
12:10 a.m.
Complaint of loud music coming from HCA 15. Students were instructed to turn down music and complied.

1:22 a.m.
Student reported seeing 4 suspicious females who did not appear to be HC students. They broke a bottle in front of the Thorne School. Security responded and identified the individuals as 3 Bryn Mawr students and one Haverford College student. Bryn Mawr College students were asked to leave campus and complied.

10:42 a.m.
Student reports that a suspicious person was in the common area of HCA 50 and also outside of building. Unable to locate.

11:30 a.m.
Haverford Township Police Dept. notified Security that a burglary occurred at 14 HCA. One suspect was apprehended. Investigation ongoing.

9:10 p.m.
Student returned to apartment to find items strewn about the bathroom and a shelf broken.

9:59 p.m.
Student states 3 suspicious males inside the INSC. Males were confronted by officers and fled area. Haverford Township Police Dept. responded and assisted in search with negative results.

11:44 p.m.
Student reported suspicious individuals in the basement of 11 HCA. They were identified as guests of Haverford College students.

Friday, October 24th
5:19 p.m.
Student reported 2 suspicious males were trying to get into Lloyd Hall and the North Dorms. Subjects left campus over campus over the Yarnall Bridge. Subjects were gone upon arrival of Security.

Friday, October 17th

Employee reported that there is an alumnus acting strange and asking odd questions in the Coop. Security responded and checked area with negative results. 

3:30 p.m. 
Employee reported students at HCA 35 playing with lighter fluid.  Students were asked to discontinue and they complied. 
Thursday, October 23rd 

12:25 p.m.    
Student was struck by a falling piece of metal from a door in the Dining Center. No injuries;  student declined treatment. 

4:22 p.m.   
While assisting police at scene of an accident, officer’s parked vehicle was struck by another vehicle.

Student reported 4 unknown males inside the 1st floor of HCA 30.  Officers checked building and area with negative results. 

Monday, October 20th

Student reported that his laptop computer and case were taken from his room in section 4.  Haverford Township Police contacted – under investigation. Safety Alert issued. 

Sunday, October 19th
12:21 a.m.
Student reported a sick student (alcohol related) in Gummere Hall. Nurse on call allowed student to be monitored through the night. 

3:08 a.m. 
Student reported loud music coming from section 4 of Lloyd.  Music lowered upon officer’s request. 

2:51 p.m. 
Student reported that an unknown person removed her X-Box from the common room at Gummere, section 1/3.

Students reported climbing on top and trying to turn over escort scooter at HCA #14.

1:31 a.m.
Students found on roof of Field House. (extremely hazardous)

1:39 a.m.
Student reported that a Bryn Mawr College student was sick in Gummere Hall (alcohol related). Student was taken by ambulance to the hospital. . Bryn Mawr Public Safety notified.

1:58 a.m.
Student reported that a student was sick in HCA 42 (alcohol related). Student was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

2:10 a.m.
Student reported that a student was sick in Lloyd Hall (alcohol related). Student was watched over by a customs person.

Saturday, October 4
1:01 a.m.
Anonymous complainant reported a loud group of students in the rear of 800 Ardmore. Area checked with negative results.

11:44 a.m.
Student reported that his vehicle was keyed while parked on Carter Rd.

Student reported that her vehicle was keyed while parked on Carter Rd.

Sunday, September 28th
12:01 a.m.
A student was vomiting in front of HCA 46 – admitted to drinking numerous shots of vodka. Nurse on call spoke with the student and roommates were able to watch him through the night.

12:44 a.m.
Student on the HCA Trail and was unable to walk. Admitted to drinking beer and several shots of vodka. Transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Paramedics.

1:21 a.m.
Mail Box on Hannum Drive was picked up and put in trash can.

2:05 a.m.
Bryn-Mawr student transported to Bryn-Mawr Hospital from Yarnell – alcohol related. Was found vomiting and was uncertain how much alcohol she had ingested.

Wednesday, October 1st
1:09 p.m.

Student reported vandalism to his vehicle while it was parked on Carter Road. Haverford Haverford PD notified.

6:27 p.m.
A student stated that unknown person(s) removed $60.00 cash from his wallet which was left in a cubicle inside the Fitness Center. Occurred between 5:15pm and 6:25pm.

Saturday, September 27th
12:01 a.m.
A student notified Security of an individual vomiting in front of HCA 46. The nurse on call was notified and spoke with the student. He was watched by fellow students for the evening.

2:39 a.m.
Student reports that his bicycle was taken from the side of Whitehead Campus Center.

11:14 p.m.
Student fell on the concrete in the front of HCA 18 – alcohol related – and was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Sunday, September 21st
1:54 a.m.
Student notified security of a student vomiting at Lunt. Nurse and Dean on call were notified. Student ran from Security officers and was later located by officers – he was not transported.

1:57 a.m.
Officer Conner notified security of an intoxicated student outside HCA 26. Nurse and Dean on call were notified. The student was not transported.

4:34 a.m.
Mailbox between HCA 31 and 35 was torn from its pedestal.

Saturday, September 20th
12:33 a.m.
Student was lying on a bench outside of Leeds intoxicated. Transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by paramedics.

12:33 a.m.
A Bryn Mawr was student found outside Campus Center intoxicated. Transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by paramedics.

Wednesday, September 17
7:36 p.m.
Student reported her bike was stolen from the bike rack at 800 Ardmore Ave. No police report at this time.

Sunday, September 14
12:40 a.m.
Two students notified Security and reported that the contents of their purses were taken while attending the 80s dance at Founders Great Hall. Some of the items were subsequently recovered.

1:22 a.m.
Student notified Security of an individual who appeared to be passed out in the 2nd floor bathroom of Jones. Nurse and Dean on call were notified. He was alert and able to walk on his own. He was watched over by other students.

A student notified Security that his friend was feeling ill due to alcoholic consumption. Dean and nurse on call were notified. Student was conversant and watched by other students.

12:35 p.m.
Student reported his bike taken from the bike rack at 800 Ardmore Ave. sometime between 9/8 and 9/9.

Tuesday, September 9
1:40 p.m.
Haverford Township Police Dept. reported a burglary had occurred at 700 Ardmore Ave. A laptop had been taken from resident’s living room. Suspect is described as a black male, in his 20’s, dark skin, 5’9” wearing blue pants and carrying a black backpack.

3:00 p.m.
Student reported personal items were taken from the basement of HCA 26. Items were taken sometime after 8/1/08.

1:08 a.m.
Student notified Security that another student was vomiting - alcohol related. Nurse on call was notified. Student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

1:15 a.m.
Student notified security of fellow student vomiting, possibly alcohol related. Nurse on call was notified. The student was watched over during the night.

North Arm Gate was broken and left on ground by the tower.

1:40 p.m.
Haverford Twp. Police Dept. received an intrusion alarm for the ATM located in the campus center. Machine was being serviced; serviceman accidentally activated the alarm.

Two female subjects appeared to be writing down license plate numbers of vehicles parked on Carter Road. Subjects could not be located.

Two males with BB guns were reported on the Nature Trail. Subjects located, advised of campus policy and escorted off campus.

8:15 p.m.
An aluminum truck dock was taken from the locking dock sometime between 6:00pm on Monday the 18th and 8:00am on Tuesday. Police were informed as well.

Wednesday, June 25
7:06 p.m.
Summer tenants reported a small mulch fires. Fire extinguished with water and a fire extinguisher. Unknown cause of fires.

7:35 p.m.
Fitness Center – Summer tenant reported being thrown off a treadmill. She suffered abrasions to her knees and lower leg. She refused medical transport.

Smoke from a refrigerator at Lacasa. Refrigerator unplugged at this time. Electricians notified.

Monday, June 23
7:27 p.m.
A seventeen year old male, non student, was injured while practicing in the batting cages at the baseball field. A friend had contacted 911; police, paramedics and ambulance arrived. Person was taken to Lankenau Hospital via ambulance. The male and friend were not authorized to use the facility.

Received information from a summer tenet that another summer tenet was very ill. The summer tenet stated she had been drinking alcohol that made her sick. She was transported to Bryn-Mawr Hospital by Llanerch ambulance.

A Bryn Mawr student residing at 22 Hannum Dr. reported the theft of her bike from the bike rack (unlocked). She last saw the bike around 2000 hrs., Tues., 6/5/08 and noticed it missing this morning. Valued between $200-$250. HTPD contacted for a report.

Officer reports the first floor north side storm window at Ira Reid was broken. No one was in the area at time of discovery. Entry can not be gained.

2:24 a.m.
A sign from the Thorne School was pulled out of ground and found lying in grass area near Campus Center. Sign was brought back to the Security office.

Friday, May 30
7:47 a.m.
Fire reported at the Dining Center kitchen area. Fire was extinguished by Dining Center staff. Fire was confined to a steamer unit that was repaired yesterday. Fire Department responded.

1:33 p.m.
Smoke detector on the 1st floor of IRA Reid was removed after finding it covered with
plastic and tape.

Wednesday, May 28
3:24 p.m.
Man was reported to have a slingshot and shooting at birds. Area checked with negative results.

Monday, May 26
7:45 p.m.
A call was received from Haverford Township Police regarding a complaint of loud noise coming from a group gathered at the entrance of PECO lot. Police advised group to quiet down and later group was asked by Security to leave the area.

Friday, May 23
3:13 p.m.
